Guild Wars 2

Hey there, I have an interesting problem here that I’m hoping to fix after years of ignoring it. I used to play Guild Wars 1, but then stopped for the longest while. Using the Hall of Monuments reward calculator, I can see that my character is still valid. I still remember my main character’s name and email, but the problem is that I’ve deleted the old email a long time ago. Is it possible to get the HoM rewards from my old GW1 character? Thank you.

Nevermind, I’ll just go through support to see if I can get my GW1 account back.

You don’t need access to your old email to log into or link your Guild Wars (One) account. You need only enter the address in the log-in or linking screen. Once you link the two accounts, your Guild Wars 2 password will become your Guild Wars (One) password, as well.

@Muusic: It’s not passive/aggressive posting, but a statement of fact. I’m waiting on a response from NCSoft to fix this.

@Cedo: The problem lies with the fact that I don’t remember my GW1 password. You need that for linking. Since I want to play GW1 again, howerver, I would also need to update the email/account name.

Ahh, you neglected to mention that in the first post. You can change your GW1 password through your NCMA, should you have created one. You don’t really need to change the email associated with your GW1 account to play, if you don’t want to. Mine has been defunct for about 5 years, and I have no problem playing, whatsoever.
