Gem Code website
Considering its name, I would be suspicious. As far as I know, the only authorized way to buy gems are through the Gem Store in-game and Gem cards at authorized retailers. But, I really know nothing about that site….if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
I’m waiting for a dev’s reply tbh
Well, you may have to wait until Monday afternoon, as the Liaison often doesn’t post on the weekends. No rush, I suppose. Good luck. =)
If it’s not listed here https://www.guildwars2.com/en/retailers/#UnitedStates-physical
I wouldn’t trust it.
If that site does work in a legit fashion, they sell you a code you redeem in game. That would be a purchase of gems (the only way to acquire gems and NOT have it count is using the gold EXCHANGE. ‘Cause that’s an exchange, not a purchase).
But that list is the list of recognized retailers.
Ok, this is weird, someone in my guild gave me that website and he said he bought gems from it, and that website isnt in that list.

Just because they actually sell codes does not mean they are legit. It has happened many times with many games, where a site will use stolen credit card info to purchase codes, then sell them at a discount to others. When the fraud is discovered, it’s the person who used the codes who lose their accounts. My 2 cents, that site is using an anonymous service to hide who the true registers/owners are. If they where legit, they would have no reason to hide that information.

Quoted for truth.
Do not purchase gems from a third party unless it’s on the list linked above. It’s risky, and the risk is all on you, as the customer. No savings would be worth getting completely cheated out of gems or, as we’ve seen in some cases, having your account stolen through the use of personal information.
