Hello there! I hope this is the correct place to post, but earlier this evening I bought a character slot for 800 gems. Then I was kicking myself because a few hours later, character slots were on sale for 20% off! Noooo! Is it possible to have the discounted price? I didn’t think there would be harm in asking. From previous posts, i doubt that they will do that. It is like you go to a store, buy a tv screen, and next day the store put a discount on that screen… they will not give you the discount back.

Asking for a refund due to a mis-click on the creditcard screen, or from a bug that double charges you Gems is one thing. But to ask a refund solely on the fact that you want a cheaper price won’t happen. Should you press on and demand a refund, that may lead to account termination.

I bought a character slot 4 weeks ago for 800 gems, can i have that refund too??
In every commerce it is normal that you don’t get a discount if even a second after you make a pruchase the price drops.

Thanks! I’ll try to ask. It was a matter of less than five hours, and I didn’t think it would hurt to try my luck. But in most retail situations it IS pretty common (at least in the USA) to accommodate customer service requests of this nature. I would certainly never ask if I’d purchased the gems weeks or days ago. But five hours or less? I think it’s a reasonable request, whether it is honored or not. Thank you for the link.

As Vertigale said, it does sometimes happen in the USA. I think Best Buy has this type of policy, maybe for 30 days. However, I’ve never heard of an online service doing the same type of thing.

This is actually incorrect. They will only terminate an account if the buyer initiates a charge back, as they do not offer refunds for Gem purchases. They will also terminate an account if the buyer requests a refund on the game itself.

Just contact Support and I believe they can take care of this because it is just a few hours before the sale price. Not a week, not a few days after the sale ends, but in this case… perhaps. Do drop them a ticket.
