I logged on yesterday to play and and saw 6 mails 3 black lion keys and 2 dye kits, I did not purchase these items and am now out 900 gems ! I check my security via the account page the only log in that day was me that morning. When I check the mail it said purchased 1 min ago . But from what i’ve read in the forums I am probly out the gems ,so my main purpose of this post is to let you know theres is a problem in the system with the gemstore auto buying things. On a side note i’m glad it was at least items I will use.

Everything I know about the system tells me that the Gem Store cannot auto-buy things as you described. I believe your account has been compromised. Please contact Support by filing a ticket through the “Ask a Question” tab on that linked page. They will be able to assist you.

If this turns out to be a game bug, the CS Agent will file a bug report so that QA and the Dev Team can look into the matter.

I had a similar occurance last night. Somehow my gems were spent to buy a dyepack. I hadn’t even looked at the gem purchase page of the store for weeks as I’ve been slowly spending gems only on inventory bag unlocks of late.

I had previously changed my password after getting one report of a chinese origin attempt to log into my account. I have not received any more e-mail warnings from you of attempts to log into my account since then.

The game somehow bought one dyepack for me, the most that it could given my scant few gems lol. I can live with that no big deal as far as those few gems go, however there is something wrong with the store doing that. I’m gonna shy away from acquiring any more gems for now till this issue is sorted. I submitted a bug report in-game on this.

This happened to me as well. Same thing – I logged in to find an email with a set of black lion keys waiting for me that I did not purchase. The cost of them had been taken out of my gem balance.

According to your security measures there has been no compromise on my account. No one logging in from strange locations, no authentication emails asking me to authorize a new login location, so I do not believe my account has been compromised.

I’m not particularly upset since I will use the keys anyway, but I did find it very odd.

I’m thinking this may not be an issue of accounts compromised:

I suggested to my husband (Karina.2341 above) that perhaps he had inadvertently double clicked on the “buy” button in his recent purchases list before logging off the previous night, since there really was no other indication that his account had in any way been compromised. But now I’m starting to think the one poster in the other thread may have nailed it… and this is somehow the system catching up with previous purchase attempt(s) that may have failed in the past.

That makes some sense to me.
