Guild Wars 2

I was going to start playing again with one of my friends, But wat happened. he plays on another server but when we wanted to change one of us had to pay freaken money to do so. Now i don’t understand this, I don’t even want to transfer a chararacter I wanted to start from scratch. How could people want to support a game which does this backstabben to the playerbase.
Now I can’t even switch server if I like to. This is the worse thing to ever happen to me in a mmo. Hopefully other mmo’s don’t make the same mistake.
Well the adventure of having fun and playing guildwars 2 ended pretty fast.

Delete all characters move to any server you like that isn’t full for free. Problem solved. Even put nice items and money you want into your bank for an added bonus of keeping them.

Perhaps reading the other 400 posts of he same thing here might have got you playing even faster!

World of Warcraft: 25 USD to move a single character from one realm to another.
Lord of the Rings Online: 25 USD to move a single character from one world to another.

Just to name two.

I’m not sure wich MMO’s you have been playing, but 25 USD (max) to move all your characters is pretty cheap compared to those other MMO’s. Besides that you even get the possibility to do it for free if the price is too steep for you, however that comes with a penalty.

You can still transfer your account to a different server, with all characters intact, without spending real money. Just buy Gems with in game Gold.

so if i delete all characters i can change servers for Free? i wasted 50 gold then ._. LOL

You can also play with your friends using the guesting feature. The only thing you cannot do with your friends through guesting is WvW.

Issue here is that with your account you can only be in one server at a time.
Comes with having something like WvW in the game.

In games like WoW you can have your different characters on different servers.
Here you are forced to swap all your characters.
I would gladly pay 25$ to swap only single character over this “every character” bs.

You don’t have to pay cash for it. I spent around 70 gold to transfer my buddy to my server when he came back from a break. Now you might not have 70 gold but it doesn’t take that long to farm. Especially if you’re 2 people.

I don’t think you wasted your gold, because you were able to keep all your characters intact. There’s a tradeoff and it’s especially helpful for new players, who don’t have a lot to lose. But deleting characters with achievements and special soulbound items isn’t worth saving the gold, in my opinion, so continuing players are ahead to use gems, which as pointed out above can be earned in the game.

i wasted the gold because when i did i only had one character wich i ended up deleting afterwards xD well it wasnt wasted since it built up my relationship and trust with the guild since they helped tons
