I’ve already submitted my trouble ticket to support (yes, I know they’re swamped) and waited till after headstart just in case, but I still don’t have access to my HoM rewards. I have confirmation that my accounts are linked and that I have 27 points in my HoM.
I even included screenshots with my trouble ticket..
Anyone else have this problem or can someone shed some light on when I will get any type of response?
Have you tried logging in on one of your Guild Wars 1 characters?
same issue; accounts definitely linked, and yes I’ve logged into my char on GW1. Still 0 points shown in achievement tab, 0 portal stone, except the one I got off that guy in LA, but HOM guy says I’m not worthy or something.
only 6/50, but I still want my heritage armor.
Have you tried making a new character? I know that during beta I had to make a new character to get it to show up.

I’m also having the same problem. It’s not affecting my gameplay by any means, but I’d like to have the items, ahah.

I’m having the same issue as well.
I created a character after I had linked my GW1 and GW2 accounts and he didn’t get a Hall of Monuments pass. He’s too high level for me to delete and remake.
Try the following:
I’ve found that a few other people have this issue, but the overwhelming majority seems to have had no trouble getting a transport stone, going to the Eye of the North, talking to Kimmes, and getting their rewards from GW1. My accounts are linked, etc. but it’s still a no-go. I’ve tried contacting support, but unfortunately have not heard back. Is anyone else still having this issue?
Have you obtained the portal stone manually in Lion’s Arch?
Same problem. Anet has not helped. Have had my ticket open since first day of headstart.

Interesting and possibly pertinent fact; I changed my original toon’s name in GW1 to something else and have been using that since. I made a char with the new name and original name to no avail. I tried with my other three slots as well with no luck. None had the token, I had to go to LA to get it off the Charr merchant.
It’s not a serious issue so I can’t see them getting to it with the plethora of more pressing issues. In any event, I just wanted to add my issue as well so it’s properly documented for the team.
I bought the digital deluxe edition upgrade in the gem store, and immediately received all of the mail items, but the Mistfire Wolf ability remained grayed out. I relogged, expecting it to be fixed but it never was. The character is my main so it’s a little annoying that this happened. The odd thing is that I created several new characters and on all of them the Mistfire Wolf ability is NOT grayed out which leads me to believe there is some authentication issue with the character I purchased the upgrade playing. The character’s name is Rustleaf on the server Maguuma and is level 40 at the moment. Has anyone else experienced the same issue? Or (this is a longshot) knows of some solution? Thanks for reading.
Same issue here. Had my ticket in since head start. Anet responded that I should log into GW1 and GW2 forums to check the validity of my account. I was able to log into GW2, but not GW1 forums. I responded with this information, but no reply from Anet since. Again not a huge issue but I worked hard for the rewards and I would really appreciate a response.

I cannot acess my stuff in Hall of Monuments . I have linked my accounts and have toons with the same name as I did in Eye OF The North, I have also followed all the instruction.
Can you help me I have a lot of stuff coming to me I would like to use.
One question i had about the hom is: is it intentional that the fds is missing from the pvp section. (even with 50/50)?

I just upgraded to deluxe edition when i hit level 62 via purchasing in gem shop, i already received the other freebies except the elite skill please fix this.

I have linked my account and logged in successfully into Guild Wars 1.

Having to wait until lvl 25-30, lions arch lvls. to get this stuff is crazy. I can’t even get the game to run for more than an hour without crashing. If they can’t fix this game and at least make it playable it will fail horribly.
I already linked my GW1 and GW2 account, in the account management say it’s linked, but i can’t get any rewards in game (i can get to the HoM map, but the NPC dont give me anything). I sent a ticket to ANet but it has been 7 days without any answer so today i tried everything that i could to make it work. My accounts was already linked with my original hotmail from both GW1 and GW2, but since it wasnt working, i tried changing my account name to my plaync name from GW1. It also didnt work, so i tried to change both my GW1 and GW2 account to a new e-mail, sadly it also didnt work.
Update: I just discovered that if I try to login in GW1 with my original email as username (the one i always used on GW1, and also used in GW) I cant login. But if I change to a new email, and use this email as username I can login.
My HoM problem is quite fun tho. I still don’t have access to my rewards and im not in a hurry to have it fixed on the expense on other game breaking stuffs.
Tho i do have identified the problem. I bought Nightfall some over 6 years ago and only played it a bit. Then my friend convinced me to play and i got all the upgrades from the store, and nightfall was bundled in so got that too again :P
So my problem with the HoM rewards is that its linked to my “old” nightfall account and not to new set i bought and played with my friends.
Anyways, just a head sup on what might be making problems.
Keep up the good work and like everyone else said, HoM isn’t game breaking so no rush!

Hi. My HoM rewards are not working in GW2. My accounts are linked, and I’ve talked with the historian in GW2 and nothing happened. I was trying to log into GW1 and got 045 error code “someone was trying to gain access to Your account please contact support” and that’s what I’m trying to do for a month!! Two tickets send to GW2 support earlier two to GW1 support and nothing changed. I only have 2 automated messages and that’s it. Please solve this
Missing the skill too (greyed out) on my only char over 30, on my lower chars the skill is not greyed out, but of course not useable due to the low level.
This skill was the only reason for me to buy the digital deluxe upgrade … my char just leveled to 30, and I had not enough points to buy one of the regular elite skills… bought the upgrade, and… nothing.
I have the same Problem. Something probably went wrong with the account linking.
So no HoM rewards and I can’t create my GW2 characters because the names are reserved from GW1.
I really hope that gets solved soon…

My HoM still as of today is run down and empty still, Kimmes tells me some garbage about not being worthy. I had 36 points in HoM. SadFace.
Ok, I have a big problem here.
So I had an account for GW1, balmung427@yahoo.com
And the changing of my mailing address never worked, so I created a new account, and tried to link my old one, to the one I use for GW2, repo427@yahoo.com
Problem iss…..it’s not working at all, I keep getting a server error, and it says to try again later, I’ve been trying since Launch. I have 1,000’s of hours on GW1, and some HoM stuff, I would realllly like to have it haha.
So if someone could get back to me and maybe help me out at some point, that would be greatly appreciated.

same here guys, my GW1 & 2 accounts are linked, but i get nothing showing in achievements, if i take the stone to the HoM it’s empty, and my saved names are locked. i opened a ticket on the 28 august and still no response.
the gear i don’t mind so much, they’ll get sorted eventually, but i really would like one of my saved names so i can start my guardian :/

I have linked my GW1 account to my GW2 account (27th April)
When i talk to Kimmes, nothing append, no HOM rewards
Ticket 120825-022130 made the 25th August, and nothing append.
Ok this problem is not really important BUT
This linking problem has another effect. I have reserved character name in GW1 that i can’t use in GW2. The game say that the name is reserved my someone else …
So i have reserved a name to be able to use it in GW2, and i can’t, and that’s a problem !
ok there is a lot of hack/bug exploit/ban problem, but i think nobody works on our problem
I have the same problem. I have linked my accounts and have 30/50 points in the HoM, but I have received no titles and when I talk to Kimmes he basically tells me to bugger off.
Patiently awaiting a sollution while I continue to enjoy the game.
I am also unable to access my HoM items despite having linked my accounts (according to my GW2 account), checking my calculator, logging in and out of GW and having obtained the portal stone. NPC is happy to see me but has nothing to give me. I too have lost the ability to obtain my “reserved” name so have moved forward with names that were not my first choice. My reserved names were locked out for me in game. My better half has the same issue.
We contacted support previously and rec a response that it was “all fixed”. It is not. We believe that part of our issue is that our GW accounts and our GW2 accounts have two diff email addresses. We asked support (prior to launch) if this was going to be an issue and have written responses from Vagabond that it was not going to be. Guess we know better now. I know this is not an earth shattering issue and its basically a cosmetic thing for our toons. However, we did spend time earning the rewards and would like to have them as soon as it is possible. ******Just a quick update/edit. Several friends of mine that were unable to access HoM awards have rec theirs as of last nights updates. However, their email addresses were the same for GW and GW2. I feel pretty confident at this point that this is where my issue lies. With 2 different emails (GW=ncsoft and GW2=
hotmail.com) the accounts can not link as they can not be recognized as being owned by the same person. At this point, just giving use the rewards that have been earned by our GW accounts maybe the easiest things as I have no idea how you would go about resetting email addresses on pre-existing GW accounts. Hope you all can figure it out soon! Thanks!

I am curious if I will ever them. My accounts are linked but I recently found out that my GW1 account was hacked and perma blocked. I don’t need to play it any more but I am just curious if I will get the items.

For anyone who has successfully linked their accounts but didn’t receive their HoM items in GW2 (ie if you have 0 points in the Hero tab/Achievements/Hall of Monuments section), try this (it worked for several people, though obviously not for everyone):
- Start Guild Wars 1
- Log in with your main character (the one who got most of the HoM achievements)
- Log out again
- Start Guild Wars 2
- Check to see if your Hero/Achievements/Hall of Monuments section now displays any points.

In my account tab it says my GW1 account is linked successfully, however when i attempt to login to GW1 with my GW2 creds i get an error that my info is not correct (not a password or username error). I can log into GW1 with my @ncsoft account and password fine, but still no HoM in GW2. Manually got the portal stone and all that stuff, still no luck
Edit: Wanted to add that also like others, i am unable to use my reserved names from GW1 and that does affect/hamper my gameplay. I understand about the ‘hacked’ accounts but feel like our issue and others are being pushed to the back burner a bit…………
As compensation, i am willing to accept a free upgrade to 50/50 HoM lol

It seems the linking didn’t work correctly, but there is no way for us to check if the correct GW1 account has been linked to our GW2 account.
Should the GW1 login change after linking it to the GW2 account? (The “sucessfully linked” message on the GW2 account page suggests that.) Well, my GW1 login still ends with @plaync and I can’t log in GW1 with my GW2 account data.
edit: there is a ‘blank’ GW1 demo account that uses my GW2 e-mail address, wile my actual GW1 account was created with an older e-mail address that I don’t use anymore. maybe that somehow caused the problem?

I have two GW1 accounts. When I went to link one of the accounts after launch to my GW2 account it said one was already linked. I do not know which one is linked. It says nothing about linked accounts on my NCsoft account. One account has my HOM rewards on it and it the one I want linked with my GW2 account. I don’t want to keep playing on this GW2 account if the wrong account is linked to it. Please help me resolve this. The original ticket has been open since day 1 the 3 day advance.
to update mine, i’m pretty sure my accounts are linked, when i change my password for my GW2 account it changes it for my GW1 account.
