this is Dizzie Mizzie, I sent my info on the 9th of Dec and it is now the 14th. I also have posted once it went past 5 days……hope you get your email changed faster than it seems it is going for me!! I hope you can still get into your account-because of old email(no longer in use)and needing email authorization I’ve been stuck! (oh and i did try un-authorizing thru verification, but all that was lite up was the password change wouldnt let me click to un-authorize)

Heres to hoping your GW2 gaming life will be less complicated than mine! hahaha

oh dear! Well, I stupidly locked myself out of my email account so can’t use my main account until this is sorted. I know they have to be careful, just wish they would give you an eta instead of asking all these questions and then ‘tumbleweed’ after answering them all

If it’s been more than 3 days, you should post in the sticky thread for issues taking more than 3 days. You should have a ticket number from your support request – include that there.

^^I already did – ‘being reviewed’ after I sent them all the info 3 days ago..this is extremely frustrating not knowing when they will ever get back to you.

There are thousands of tickets created every day, including duplicates that need to be closed, protests from players who know they did something wrong but try to argue their way out if it anyway, and people who are confused and ask about irrelevant topics. Sometimes it takes a while to get to your ticket.

There are thousands of tickets created every day, including duplicates that need to be closed, protests from players who know they did something wrong but try to argue their way out if it anyway, and people who are confused and ask about irrelevant topics. Sometimes it takes a while to get to your ticket.

I am not and never have argued this fact and, having worked on a first line service desk myself, know how this works. The point is, they should have a system in place that gives you know an eta on an answer – even if they said ‘within 5 days’ it would not have people wondering if they had been forgotten, or if their last email reply didn’t reach them. It is good practice to keep your customers informed.

Also, they are not going to put ETAs into tickets (other than the general “Most issues… blah blah… x days…” they already do) because quite frankly, people on the internet tend to be too stupid to get than an ETA is not a “Set in stone, break my bones, etc.” time. Some of the issues are simple to figure out, others are not, and work volume all affect how long a ticket can take. Which is why Gaile made the 3+ days old for review thread.
