I changed my password a while back, but cannot get the launcher to forget my old one and remember my new one. It would be nice to not have to enter the 25 letter passphrase every time I log on.

uncheck remember login/password checkboxes in launcher and restart it. Type in new ones and check to remember them if needed.

Then you can try to simply delete local.dat file in
C:/Users/<current user>/Documents/Guild Wars 2/
All your game/video/audio settings (except for shortcuts) will be reset to defaults as well as saved login/password.
