Hello, I recently have been trying to recover my password, which i have unfortunately forgotten. However, since there is a “Remember password” option on the launcher, I’ve been able to log in too the game, and my account on the website. Since I would like to at least KNOW my password in case of future problems, I tried to reset it. However it seems that I need a serial number that was e-mailed to me some time ago. The problem is: I DON’T HAVE THE E-MAIL. Which means I don’t have the serial number, therefore I can’t reset my password.

I’ve tried twice to get my serial code from support and twice they have ignored my request.

You can convince them to reset your password though. They once even reset my password without me even asking them to do so (which is kind of disconcerting, meaning that anyone can just ask for a reset without the code).

This would be the same as a bank giving you your Social Security Number in the U.S.A.

As it is one of the things they ask for when trying to verify ownership, they WILL NOT give it out. However, even if you lose it, keep as much data as you can about when/where/with what/how you purchased it, and other info, and you can get back in (such as CC number’s last four digits and type of card, date of purchase if online or date of registry if bought some other way).

Also, if you have your password saved for the forums, or other websites, your browser may be keeping a record of saved passwords. I know Firefox does. You can check there, and perhaps recover your password that way. Again, good luck. =)

In Chrome, the menu button in the upper right, settings, show advanced settings, “Manage Saved Passwords”
