Jelle, it will be pointless and I don’t know why Gaile Gray is telling you to contact the support after knowing your problem. He should know already that Anet doesn’t want or doesn’t have the power to recover or restore individual characters or items.
I had a similar issue. I absent mindly deleted a character where I was saving all my ascended materials (enough to craft full ascended, tons of them). I filled a ticket and got my answer:
“I’m really sorry about your situation and I understand how valuable these items are. However, at this time we are not able to recover or restore individual characters and we can not replace any of the items that were in “Character Name” inventory at the moment of its deletion. Please note that the design of the game provides ample warning to prevent accidental character deletion by requiring the player to type out the full name of the character a second time, and to confirm that the deletion is truly desired."

Just so you know, Gaile is an anet employee and she has in the past been right about getting things like Mr. Sparkles back after deletion (probably because it’s account bound and super exclusive). And you can see other threads where people have gotten their mini back.
And all who stood by and did nothing, who are they to criticize the sacrifices of others?

And these are 2 different situations.
Op is asking for a mini, Ragnarok is asking for a full character plus inventory. (you can only delete a char when you type it’s full name, so I don’t see how one absentmindedly does that.)

I really think it depends on the item.
Mr. Sparkles is a mini that is account bound and was either received as a convention gift or through the gem shop promotion. This item can not be gotten in any other way. This item also has 0 economical value as it is account bound and only given to buy anet to certain parties. This is different from ascended materials, as ascended materials can be refarmed.

And I do believe that restoring 1 char is indeed something that can’t be done. It sucks, don’t get me wrong. But they just can do it.
Sandra, it was a lvl 1 character I was using to save the mats. I have like 3 characters just to save mats and so. I deleted the wrong one. I’m not defending the silliness of what I did though. It was really stupid and I blame myself for losing those stacks. I would really apreciate if my mistake had a fix though.
I totally understand! It can happen to anyone, me not understanding how it can happen really has nothing to do with it.
But I’m kinda starting to understand (finally) what can and cannot be done by support and although I don’t have to understand it, I can’t give false hope, so to speak.
Being on this forum a lot has actually saved me from doing most of the things that people post about here! This is basically the only game where I wiki/forum before I do anything.

And that’s a sad thing Ragnarok! Tons of work deleted, meh, bet you faceslapped yourself right there! I’ll try anyway though, as said by Lilith Ajit it’s not an economical item and exclusive by gem store purchase so I’ll see! Good luck with refarming your mats
