I just bought the digital deluxe edition because I was excited it was on sale. It sent me the serial code and when I try to use it it makes me create a new account. I just entered my existing account info and it told me the account already existed and to log in. It won’t let me upgrade my account. says the code has already been applied to that account. But when I log into the game nothing has changed. I wasn’t logged into the site when I bought it and I think that might be the problem, but I don’t know. Some assistance would be nice, I don’t want to have just spent $40 dollars on something I cant use.. What do I do?

Did you already have a full digital deluxe account with an unique email?
Or did you want to upgrade? Because that code should have been added to your existing account through the “my account”tab.
If it’s the last, submit a ticket with support, top of the page.

You can upgrade your account to Digital Deluxe for 25 dollars. Buying the Heroic Edition DDE for 40 dollars gets you a whole new account. You need to contact CS and speak to them about your issue.
I submitted a ticket. I have a normal account and bought the DDE through the site because it said it was on sale today. I got the code and did everything right. There is no upgrade for $25 Cedo… There’s only the Heroic Edition and the DDE. They’re both on sale. Heroic Edition is $30 and the DDE is , technically, $42. I’ve never seen anything about a $25 upgrade.. But I did submit a ticket. So, hopefully I can fix this. Thanks for the responses though.
Edit: You meant the in-game upgrade purchase… I didnt even think of doing that.. Im an idiot.

Yes, the upgrade….in game. =) Hopefully, you can get this taken care of with CS.
They replied to my ticket and just gave me the steps to register the code which I’ve done about a million times. So I just asked for a refund. Haha

I want to be sure I understand. You were hoping to upgrade an existing account and instead purchased the code for a separate account? If so, then yes, I think you did the right thing in requesting a refund. If you were attempting to purchase a second account, or to gift an account, then the team will be able to help you do that.
