Keep having to change my password
Well, two possibilities. Your computer is hacked or you have the “forget password” bug. Best to do a full security sweep of your computer and also check for a keylogger. After that I would change the password on your regular email.
The “forget password” glitch seems to hit some owners of iPads and iPhones. I read a theory that there might be another that hits people that have a corrupted email password. Apparently the problem is not on Guild Wars 2 side.
I use an iPad to access the forum and had a period of time where it was causing the game to forget my password on a daily basis. It stopped when I switched to an old iPad with an old IOS. Then the problem went away by itself.
Well I’ve had no log in attempts and nothing is ever missing from my characters, so I’m not sure why someone would just change my password for GW2 and nothing else then not take anything. And I’m not getting any of the “Password Reset” Emails from arenanet, only the ones I’ve done myself. I’ve changed my email pw and everything just incase, it’s just odd it’s only GW2 and nothing is missing. And my search for loggers has come up empty so far.

I think you were wise to take precautions. Believe it or not, sometimes we note an account is fully compromised, maybe even accessed for a couple of minutes, but nothing is taken. Later, of course, it’s stripped. But it’s not outside the realm of possibility that your account was compromised, that someone could have accessed at any time to remove items or to use it for botting or advertising RMT.
Again, changing passwords to complex password that are used nowhere else is always a great precaution!

To add to Gaile’s comments, MY account was compromised (for less than 2 minutes according to Support) and a week+ later, I saw the email to “rate the support I received” from Anet Support. Having NOT logged into the game for at least a month (taking a break) I quickly realized my email had been compromised and my GW2 password had been changed. Immediately changed my email password (it was a very old email account and I had stupidly left the password as one I used for years on other sites across the internet….100% MY FAULT) and contacted support to regain control of my GW2 account.
Support got me back into my account and after a complete review of everything, I realized NOTHING had been taken (that I am aware of….that was 3 months ago). Not sure if I just had junk they didn’t want (I was still in the process of gearing up my 8 characters with Exotics at the time), or what, but I was VERY lucky. Still can’t believe they didn’t take the 150g in my personal guild storage.
TLDNR: My account was compromised and not a thing was taken. Hackers had sole access to it for nearly 2 weeks before I realize it and re-secured everything. I DO realize just how lucky I was and do NOT take it for granted any longer. Security issue was 100% my fault (and has since been corrected).
