Guild Wars 2

Hey folks, I never played gw1. I want to go back and buy the trilogy. A few gw2 buddies highly recommend it for lore etc. and will play with me. Can I still link the accounts from 2 to 1 and will it benefit my gw2 account if I go back and play gw1?

Thanks in advance! I know you can link from gw1 to gw2 but wasn’t sure if the reverse made sense.

Yea, pretty sure you will be able to link the accounts. Any yes, if you get Eye of the North expansion for gw (1) you’ll be able to earn points through game activities that will get you weapon and armour skins in gw2. Search “Hall of Monuments” on either the gw or gw2 wiki to see what im on about. : )

be prepared to sink in hours and hours into gw1 cos it’s really quite addictive especially when you are earning the HoM points canisrufus

but i wonder how is the community of gw1 now? it was easy to get help last time thru forum like gwguru
