Guild Wars 2

I played Guild Wars and the expansions and been playing Guild Wars 2 since launch. I recently recovered my Guild wars account information and linked the accounts

The following Guild Wars 2 account information will now be used to log in to both Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2’

When I go to the hall of Monuments and talk to the Historian it he tells me I don’t have access because I didn’t come before or whatever… Am I doing something wrong? I linked the accounts. Do I have to make a new character to get the benefits? I didn’t get any achievements either for linking the account.

Have you tried accessing the Hall of Monuments in GW1 and speaking to Kimmes? And changing your Hall of Monuments in GW1 from account-wide to character-wide (or vice versa) and back again? That often clears up the problem. Good luck.

Talk to kimmes in the gw1 version of the hall of monuments, he can be found next to entrance
