The option to report sender is already implemented in game mailbox but it lack another very important option to Block sender directly from the mailbox.

Because until someone from Anet actually review all the reports and finally ban the account all the spam is coming again.

Please add an additional button to the mailbox that will let us put the sender to our block list. Or make right click menu possible when clicking on the sender name.

I have tried to add the spammer name to my block list by hand, but it seems that the game is blocking wrong person.

For example. Lately I have received spam from “Resharia”. Whenever I try to add “Resharia” to my block list an innocent and wrong player “Xarak” is added.

Block function and Contact List do not recognize players by Display Names but instead look up by character names.

This is a serious issue and need to be looked into. Thank you

Now try blocking Xarak and it will block Xyruz and so forth and so on …
I don’t have the time and desire to investigate whether I have blocked right person or not.

And yes the mishmash issue with names is serious because it is connected with mail being send to wrong recipients aswell.
