Owing to the recent sale, I decided to buy some bank slots. Unfortunately, it turns out I bought one too many – I was unaware there was a limit to the number of bank slots an account can have, and the in game UI did not tell me there was a limit of 8 (and actually implies a limit of around ten – see attached screenshot and ‘blank space’ in the bank UI).

So I wasted a small amount of gems on a bank expansion item that is unusable in every way – it’s account bound, yet my account has the maximum number of bank slots. It’s not a huge deal in the end, but would a possible refund of that bank slot item be possible? If not, could you guys at least correct the UI so others don’t make the mistake I do? (Either put a Bank Tab X / 8 indicator to clearly denote a maximum of 8 tabs, or removal of that empty space in the bank scroll)

Same issue here. And unlike bag you can’t give this to alt.
Hope they can give a quick awnser, and not one like rewind to previous date, which means I can’t play until they do next action :-/

Made same mistake since there was no tooltip on the item that would indicate any kind of bank expansion limit.
Strangely on bag expansion (wich you can trade to other characters in case you buy more than your character can have) there is limit tooltip and on bank expansion there isn’t one. Hope for fast replay aswell.

If you purchase them directly from the bank slot window it will stop you when you get to the limit. However if you purchase them through the BLTC under the “Hot Items” section it will allow you to purchase more than your limit…. sigh for bugs.

I would write a support ticket. If it is not stopping you, when you have it fully loaded, then there is at least a small mistake from their side. It is not just the “wrong buy” answer. So try it!

I had the same issue a few hours ago… did not realize that I had already capped on bank slots and then purchased one during the sale from the “hot items” TP tab only to find that it could not be used. I did open a support ticket describing the situation and look for a prompt response.

I had it eat mine I purchased via the BLTC window :p (Yes, filing a report now).

Sent my support ticket in earlier today and they reversed the transaction quite fast. I was surprised. It sucks that it doesn’t tell you in-game that the limit is 8 from the tool-tip, but I’m more than happy that the process to get my refund was so painless.

There’s a differnt between get the item, or can’t use due maxed 8 slot alredy
When you buy it, you’ll get it from your mail. And if you don’t received the mail, try first delete some mails. There is a maximum of 10 mail which you can keep (heart from event reward aren’t included)

But some letters from special events fill up the mailbox without counting on the counter.
