I receive 2 email from Anet asking me to logon to the support because Anet are concern about whether my account was stolen.

Feeling uncomfortable so I decided to logon just to check if my account is okay . When I logon I receive an error " Your account had been terminated for modifying or tampering with the game. " I had stop for a month or so , I’m not sure how did I modify .

In the pass weeks when I was still playing I spend my time farming COF with a friend . In average 1-5 hours depending on my net conditions and spending my time wvw and spvp when he is not online.

Most of the time I have Skype and Team Speaks on.

It really hurt me a lot by being charged when I don’t know what is happening . I am really sad , angry and confused . Had spend hours in real life thinking about How , When , Why, What had happen to my account. Why is all this happening gave me bad headache till I had to go back on my medications.

What can I do now?

So helpless……Help ME please .

The second two images of are of phishing emails sent to you trying to gain unauthorized access to your account. Hopefully, you did not click on the links. As to the other email, you can post your ticket number in the sticky for ‘3 Day and Older’ tickets and the Liaison may look into your case. Good luck. =)

You reported to Anet bout a third party tool that allows portal hacking??

So how did you find out bout this third party tool?? How did you report it??
Dont name the method of the tool or the name. Advertising an exploit is not allowed. But even if you used such a tool for 1 minute you can be banned.

Obviously he found out about it from seeing people use it. Most of us have seen the teleporting bot at the resource nodes.

You report it by right clicking on the players portat and choose report.

For you Ice. Update your ticket and ask them to review the login ip from the time of when the account was flagged. If you were hacked they’ll see that the loggins came from a different area.

Might be, the reason I am saying it is that how I read it he must have had some more info. Normal players only know their where bots who could magically appear out of nowhere. The OP knows it is actually a third party tool and not an exploit of a glitch.

Im certainly not saying that the OP did it. But as you said, they are going to check the used IP’s when the tool was been used. If he did use it before for like 5 minutes before uninstalling it and reporting it, he better tells that now instead of support finding it out.

If it was just for 5 minutes and then reported when he was in control of the account I still think he shouldnt be punished.

I reported the hacker to Anet the very same day, some days later I started my break from gw2 due to some reasons .

It never cross my mind to finding out what the hacker was using , I just wanted to reported him because I feel is unfair to everyone and I believed that Anet would take actions against him .
