Hello, I’m Rogier(.8602) and I’m in the guild: The Swords of Hell Justice. Now a couple of weeks back, the guild leader was banned, for reasons unknown to me, but now we don’t have a guild leader. This went just fine up to the guild missions update, where a guild leader is needed. If you can help us, I’d like to have: Volrick.3719 as our guild leader.

Anet won’t change a guild leader. They said that on former occasions.

Someone will probably be automatically promoted to guild leader after some time.

That was the rule in GW1. There has been no information currently on the same feature in GW2. So I won’t count on it.

You could send a ticket into support but I don’t think it’ll help. With the guild mission stuff as long as you still have officers they can research the missions for the guild.

The only thing the leader has access to that the officers don’t is editing ranks and emblems

no one will be automatically promoted.. our guild has this problem for more than 5 months.. guild leader is still banned..

Tell your guild leader to submit a ticket that he needs unban for 24 hours or less, just to switch his “leader” rank to someone else.. mine guild leader did it and.. ok.. still nothing but we think that they can solve this problem soon (at least they were able to reply him) so I’ll give them one more week and we’ll see..
