I still recieved a few apparantly someone from china and taiwan tried to access my account. =s

But i’m not recieivng my own log-in attempts anymore either, unless my IP changes.

Fantasma — did you perhaps check the option that retains your usual location, so that you won’t get the emails unless someone tries to log in from another location?

Small update:

I can still log-in from this pc without that authorize log in mail…
My IP-adress has changed since monday. (just checked)

Am I missing something?

Depending on how much your IP changes, we might still consider it to be the same “location.” Chances are that’s what’s happened here.

Providers typically use IP-ranges. If the system remembers the Provider it will accept any IP that knowingly belongs to that Provider. Sometimes the access point for different session changes. But I don’t know how much. In Germany (my location) it can change a few hundred kilometers.

That’s the way I have been told.
