Hello, recently I have been receiving a verification email about loging in via another IP. (I think someone is trying to hack into my account, but arent able to gain access into it because of the email.)

I was wondering if this is a fake email, or a real email. Here are the IPs that have been trying to get into my account:

1 – A login attempt from the following location is currently awaiting your authorization.

Address: 202.110.30.121

City: Fushun

Region: 19

Country: CN

2 – A login attempt from the following location is currently awaiting your authorization.

Address: 218.11.226.41

City: Xingtai

Region: 10

Country: CN

Would really like some ArenaNet support on this. Thank you for your time.

If you haven’t already may a totally different email account to use only for GW2. Change your user name to this new email and change your password.

I would also suggest using gmail and their 2 step authorization. You do not want to get hacked and be out of your game for a week+. Take the time and do it now.

ASAP…thats how mine started….within 24 hours they had my account and they still do have it

It looks like it’s a real email, because people who got their account compromised was mainly caused by someone from china.

I wish there was a way to lock out any log-ins outside of my country.
