Yesterday I purchased a copy of the digital deluxe edition for my girlfriend as a gift. We have yet to receive an email to the desired e-mail address (not my own; to which i already have an account) with the product key even 24 hours after my paypal had been withdrawn from. I currently have an open ticket and understand that there are many people looking for assistance, but i am unsure as to what the typical wait time for a purchased game key is currently.

Based on my personal experience, if you purchased the DDE from the website, the key should pop up on your screen and straight away populate the form. You will then get an email that also contains the key. I purchased mine a long time ago when the servers weren’t swamped and got mine with I would 15 minutes. Have you checked your spam/junk folders?

Yes, absolutely, any folder that the email may have gone to accidentally was searched, but nothing thus far has been sent.
I completed the purchase yesterday on my mobile phone, and didn’t see a pop-up with a key on it at all.

could be something to do with the fact that you did it through mobile

Does she already have a game account?.. If so, have her log into the game and check the ‘black lion’s trading company’.

the ‘upgrade’ may be waiting for her there. (as you can purchase the upgrade in-game as well as threw the web)

I guess i can understand that it might make it a little more of a complicated transaction, however, it didn’t affect their ability to charge my paypal account 80 dollars. i have an invoice ID from paypal of the transaction, but still have no game to show for it.

We were considering asking for a refund and allowing her to try from her desktop, but are still waiting to hear about the ticket and how it can be dealt with. (ie: spend another 80 dollars and wait this long again for a game.. or wait it out and hopefully get the game eventually)

hmm ‘k.. was gonna say to check the black-lion’s board. Has she tried checking your spam folder for the E-mail?..

or what type of e-mail is it? ISP (like time-warner) or a ‘freebie’ like Gmail or Yahoo? If its a Direct ISP e-mail. go to the ISP’s website and log into the e-mail threw their website, see if its sitting in the ‘junkmail’ folder on THEIR servers.

Gratz on purchasing the game! It may take up to 5 days to get your key, just be patient, very very patient.

It has now officially been 48 hours since i’ve paid for a game that i have yet to receive.
Feeling a lot of anxiety and remorse about not having waited until i got home from work to use a real computer (from what i hear, i would have had less issues). Starting to feel bad about playing a game without her that she seemed more excited about than me.
