You can contact Customer Support by opening a ticket. Perhaps, they will assist you in retrieving your gold, though losses through user-error are not often replaced. Best of luck to you.

I have already gotten a response on my ticket, but it wasn’t very helpful. Just a few lines with the words “no can do!” Okay, not exactly those words but very close.
I have updated my ticket, but in the meanwhile I’m asking on the forums. Is there anyway you could bypass the “User-error=No support”? It’s a honest mistake, and I’m willing to fight for money.

If you have already gotten a response from Customer Support saying they are unable to replace your gold, then there is little else you can do. It is not their policy to replace items lost through user-error at this time. Sorry for your loss.

Basicly no there isn’t. You can try and appeal the decission by support. This means you ask an arenanet official to look into the matter. First off all there is no garantee you will get an answer (although most appeals are being answered). The appeals are handled publicly here on the forum and many times by Gaile Gray. Looking through simular situations in the past the answer is always that the can’t recreate characters or make gold appear in game manually.
however if you want it to give it a go, please make sure to include your ticket number in the post so the arenanet official can look into it.

Ticket number is the same as “Reference #” right?
