Hello, I contacted Support about refund 5 days ago and I was told that my ticket was transferred to the Payment Support Department for assistance and received no answer/information since then.

I’m not impatient, I’d just like to know if we can even get a refund. The refund policy on the site doesn’t say there’s a time limit for refunds so I just want to be sure. Can we get refunds or not?

I am in the same boat. I understand prioritizing hacks before refunds, but I’m getting the feeling it fell through the cracks, conveniently or not.

know how you feal to an extent i have been wanting to know more about refunds and whether after posting a ticket for help and not getting a reply after a few days if we can use the charge back feature built into pay pal. luckily as of 2 minuets ago my purchase finally hit my account still no word from customer service though

Normally, you can’t get refunds for games once they have been installed/opened. Not sure how ANet handles it though.

I am also curious on this too. Having to wait days for an account that was compromised to find out it really wasn’t… and than to get banned and having no reason why so… hoping to potentially to receive a refund if this keeps up.

I too am curious if it’s possible to get a refund. Hopefully they’ll be able to answer us soon.

I understand we’re not the kind of people you’d want to help since we’re asking for refunds and are therefore unimportant, but you could at least tell us if it’s possible or not. A simple yes or no would suffice…

You should be able to get refound if you bought physical copy of GW2.

If you just bought the key and DL it from account page im afraid refound isnt possible.

You mean after you did the beta, head start and now its day 8 after official release you think people should still get a refund why?

If you purchased the game and entered the key and all of a sudden decide you don’t like the game and want a refund (tough), also if you were banned legitimately and are now asking for a refund have to say hope they refuse!

Who said anything about banned accounts? They were asking about refound in general.

And yes i think people should get rofound. The fact there was beta and headstart has nothing to do with that. In beta GW2 as product was unfinished so thats not legit. Also not everyone played from day 1, 24/7. Some people maybe started later and after 1-2 days decided thats not what they wanted.

Refound should be ok within 1 month from account activation.

Dont get me wrong, im not one of them. This is the best game for me so far and i love every pixel/line of code of it

Oh, my account is just fine, I didn’t get banned, no reason for that. Headstart was barely playable for me and there really was no way to try the game out properly until it was released. As Infuser said, some of us decide that’s not what we wanted after actually trying it out.

I am mad that you guys say this is my fault, I get an email saying someone tried to access my account like 700+ times, so I do the smart thing and change my password right then. I am playing the game for about 2 hours when my screen goes black…I try to log back in and it says I am banned for gold buying or something, which later looking at the facebook area others had the same issue. But heres the thing my account was not taken over so much as I can tell… no email change no names change no password changes other then what I did, why was my account block and has been blocked since the 31st. I have submitted the tickets, even corrected it as soon the wiki gave more guide lines for submitting a ticket and then I see your wiki say you fixed all account before Sept 1. I am tired of automated responses. I spent $80 for early access now it more like maybe some day access. PLEASE please FIX IT. I know I am not the only one with a broke account but 4-5 days without any word is a bit much.

I wouldnt mind getting my money back just so I can buy another game it woul dbe quicker then waiting for them to fix it…
