Today i few people reported me because i said that the new rewards system allows
you to do praticly nothing and still get the reward because theres like a hundred other people killing the same thing. And they reported me because they didint like what i said and didint like how i called them ‘nubs’ because they only want easy rewards. I Wonder if theres any kind of protection because i dont think its an offense it is just my opinion.

We can’t answer that since we didn’t see the actual chat (don’t post it here) and we don’t work for ArenaNet. You can easily avoid these situations by being polite to others in chat. You aren’t going to get reported for being nice.

Reporting does nothing unless you’re actually breaking the rules. There’s no “auto-ban bot” that hits you as soon as you’re reported. A GM reviews the reports.

And like Gassy says, if you don’t do anything bannable, you’re not going to get banned. I’ve been reported in dozens of games for reasons that are beyond ridiculous (“too old to play this game” was one!) I’ve never had so much as a suspension.

Reports are meaningless unless you have actually broken TOS. In fact, if people are reporting you and the reports are not of you breaking TOS then they can get in trouble for that. Just don’t break TOS and you’ll be fine, regardless of any reports.

They probably only said they were reporting you just to get you riled up about it.

Anytime a report is filed, the report is viewed by someone in Support at ArenaNet decides on action. There is not a machine that does the work, actual human beings read the reports and make the decisions. So, if you have not done anything that violates policies, the reports are meaningless. Simply voicing an opinion – as long as it is not harrassing, vulgar, or the like – is not a reason for being suspended or banned.

What do you mean not actionned?? Ive been playing for a month and half right now ? Maybe its my email verification that didint worked because i cant click on it when i try ???

I think Gaile means that nobody reported you, no actions on your name.
It has nothing to do with how long you’ve been playing.
