Hello,

As the title says, my account got rolled back.
I stopped playing early this year. 2 weeks ago I installed GW2 again and wanted to play some more. I had problems with logging. Support Team told me my account was compromised and they helped me to log in again, but… They rolled back my progress at the time I played the most. They claimed it was a “hacker” who exped my characters and boosted achivement points . I know it was me doing all this, I played with friends. At the moment I’m in contact with Senior GM, they do not seem to understand nor care about this issue. Any suggestions?

They have information as to when your account was compromised the first time. IF that happened before you stopped playing, they will roll it back until a point before that. They always roll back until a point BEFORE the first confirmed compromised access.

You seem to miss the point. I did not ask for any rollback. A friend of mine got his account hacked, he lost all the gold, but Support Team didn’t perform rollback. In my case, they expect me to start from zero.

You seem to miss the point. I did not ask for any rollback. A friend of mine got his account hacked, he lost all the gold, but Support Team didn’t perform rollback. In my case, they expect me to start from zero.

I guess if the person who hacked your account boosted AP etc, you get boosts from then now to Magic find, karma gain etc, support deemed you did not earn them yourself, thus they rolled the account back to when you last played, be grateful they rolled it back and didn’t say to bad.

Are you joking? You play, you spend your time and they just roll you back. I’m sure you’d be happy with that.
In the first post Denhart clearly says he progressed his account himself. GM claims he didn’t lvl up his toon, etc. and I know he did, because I’ve been playing with him since the very beginning.

It’s very possible the rollback was too far back. Did you try to update the ticket and state that, instead of posting on the forums without a ticket number? Support has sometimes gone too far back in a rollback, which is very possible in this case. Snapshots aren’t on a daily case.
