Guild Wars 2

Hi, i just bought Guildwars 2 and want to play on the server Gates of Madness as all my friends are in there playing.. it’s been 6 hours since that server is full, and i want to play so desperately now..
I know there is a free server transfer going on, and it’s like another 7 days before i can transfer to another server again (Please correct me if i’m wrong). Now my question is, if i chose to play on a Medium population server today, can i change back to Gate of Madness later on (today) if the server isn’t too crowded anymore?

In short – yes, you can.
You can transfer to any server you want, as long as the server is not full when you are trying to transfer.
