Guild Wars 2

This might be a nub question but I share a computer with someone, and we both have guild wars 2 on the same computer. Is there a way that our contact list will NOT be shared? I don’t really want to see all his contacts on my list.

your contact list should NOT be shared at all. This is an account based list so each account that is logged in has its own list.

I logged in on my account that i just made and I have his contact list and i’m on invisible. :/

hmmm, this shouldn’t happen afaik, but I believe this is a technical issue. So maybe ask in that forum.

Exactly what I was thinking.
If each of you have their own account with unique email and password, there should not be a shared list. If not, it’s a tech issue.

However sharing an account will have that and sharing is not allowed.

I have two accounts (altoholic, did not know how many char slots we’d be able to buy) and I know they do not share any data across the same PC I play them on.
So the PC settings should not matter here. IC may have his finger on the issue.

According to her/his post in the Tech Support forum, they both have separate accounts. Sounds like a bug or glitch. So, I guess she didn’t have her finger quite on the issue, after all. Lol.

Are you possibly both logging onto the PC via the same user (and what OS is being used)?

It is seperate accounts, not characters. But after a game relaunch it seems to have corrected itself. Thanks.

Yaaaaay, just as I thought it was a technical glitch. I think you use windows and the way that stores personal data is a bit -blahish-. anyways, welcome to the game. Hope you will enjoy it as mush as I am.
