Q:

My girlfriend’s account is stolen, have been for a year now. Even her mail account was hacked. When she first discovered this she tried to log in to the game, but the password didn’t work, she then tried to get a new password, when she then checked her e-mail she noticed that there wasn’t a new mail from arenanet, and also, all the mails from arenanet were deleted, including the one who had the serial number. She have tried to contact arenanet several times without luck. She also did this video-thing you’re suppose to do when your account is stolen, but no respond. This is really awful because she loves the game so much, she misses har toons badly and want to play it every day. Please help anyone?

No, your girlfriend herself should have talked to support! To late now though but even if she can’t get into the forum, she can still submit a ticket. I should have been clearer on that.

And yes, give the info you do have and go from there.

Even if you don’t have the serial anymore (and if your email got hacked, try asking your provider for help!) if you know the date (exact is best, approx is still helpful) of purchase, and the last four of the card used (and type of card) if you bought directly from anet.

I tried the link you sent Sandra Solace, but it can’t be done. She doesn’t have her serial code, her mail that had that code was deleted by the hacker/hackers.

Or did you mean I should type in all the info as it was me, and just fyll in in the descripiton that it’s actually my gf’s account…

How is she suppose to log in here without a serial code? She tried to log in here herself earlier today, and it wasn’t possible without a serial code. As I understood, she would have to purchase a new serial code to use that to log in here. What’s the point of trying to get back your account then?

Forget about a serial code if you do not have it. Have your girl friend come to this website. On the top of the page is a link that says “support”. She should click on that link. On the page that opens, top right is a link “submit a request”. Click on that link and fill in the information she does have. If there is any information that she does not have, just leave it blank. There is no need to sign in to support to file a ticket. The support ticket will be handled by email from that point forward.

I don’t know when this happened, I took a break for some months, came back, and then my account was hacked.

And I bought the game before it came out. I bought it right after it was for sale, I was like crazy after it, really loved the beta.
