I was suspended last night for an inappropriate name? My in game name is Agondon. How is this inappropriate? I even did a google search to check whether it might be inappropriate even though it was created originally and isn’t derived from anything that might break the name rules. I want to know who decided that I should be suspended and did not properly review the complaint someone filed against me.

First of all don’t asume your name isn’t inappropiate for someone else. Clearly someone reported you, a GM has reviewed the case and agreed with you.

So it might! be that your not suspended inapropiate. You have offended someone (obvious unwillingly).

Secondly. You can also be victum of a having insulted someone in a foreign language. This might also be just a part of your name. (and I don’t have a clue what might be wrong).

Third is that the GM suspended you for something else but clicked the wrong reasoncode (happens muchtoo often tbh).

So what should you do:
1: file a support ticket and wait for a response. You can file a supportticket here: https://en.support.guildwars2.com/ (ask a question). Ask for the reason for the suspension cause you where not aware it was meaning something wrong and you where un-aware it could ever have been offensive. Ask them to unsuspend you when they made an error.
2: When you get unsuspended your done. if you get a reason then please ask for an appeal and a free namechange cause it isn’t offensive in your language and it wasn’t on purpose.
3: if answer takes longer then 72 hours then post in the designated sticky in this part of the forum
4: if support stops talking to you (closed the ticket permantly) and you still disagree with them you can ask here for an appeal.

Hope my explanations of the possible reasons and what you can and should do to get this resolved helps and that you have a solution quickly.

I heard first suspensions are just warnings so you should be unbanned relatively quick? Unless this is your 2nd time?

I googled gondon and came up with conom also. I guess someone who knows Russian saw your name and reported it. One of the hazards of having a game where players speak multiple languages is the ability to offend someone somewhere with any random name.
