Guild Wars 2

Hello, I noticed one of my friends (also a guildie) started to behave strangely over the last few days, haven’t answered to private messages, suddenly stopped representing our guild, “de-friended” me and other people who we believe were both friended through the friends system in-game, etc.

So after a few days of thinking that maybe this person just didn’t want to stay around with us anymore or talk to me or others, I started to convince myself that in fact what might be causing this behavior could be the loss of access of this person’s account.

Since the account remained in game all this time through and on the same map, I went on and tried to find it, I succeeded, and from the looks of it, the account is being used to bot.

I have several screenshots as well as videos of this.

I have tried contacting this person through different ways but I’m still waiting on an answer (this person happens to be busy for the time being and I am aware that might not be around for some time, at least in game).

Now what should be my next step?

If I was in your shoes I’d file a support ticket and explain just what you explained here. They will be able to tell if the account has been turned into a bot. If yes, they will block the account and your friend/guildie can put in a support ticket to get the account returned to him along with a rollback to a point before the account was compromised.

This is almost exactly what happened when my account got hacked, the kitten kitten, left all the guilds I was in, and then removed all my friends.. I’ve no idea why they do this, but they do. Personally I would be worried.

I contacted support and i provided all the info I had, my friend is back now, and after seeing my messages about the activity on the account, logged in and contacted support now.

I’m the friend of Beleeth who has been hacked and I’ve just finished sending a message on the support page.
Yes my account has been hacked. At least all my characters are there but the person who hacked my account has sold everything valuable in my bank, character bags and hero panel. I hope you can restore my account the way it was before it got hacked.
When I checked were comes from the last connection of my account it says “KR”. : (
