Temp ban
Probably not because there is no way to prove it was your brother or if you are telling the truth. Also unintentional or not allowing someone else to use your account makes you responsible for their actions. Promises to not let it happen again will most likely not produce the result you are looking for. I would also suggest that you disable the remember password setting to avoid such issues in the future even if you keep your computer locked. Personally I never use password remember features. I look at it as having one more layer of security to hopefully avoid anyone else from accessing my accounts.
Tell his mom what he said. Let her give him a temporary ban. ^^
I agree with JustTrogdor. At this point, just wait out the suspension and keep your brother away from your computer and maybe see if your parents can put him up for adoption. ;-)
I figure I’d give this a try and maybe the compassion will be there lol. I mean, they can look at past chat records or whatever they like. I’m no liar :/
Also, if I had to wait out the ban, will the mark on my account go away. I really hope I won’t have to wait tho, I wanna play! lol

I am almost certain you will have to wait out your ban for the reasons I stated in my first reply to your post. If you do not plan for these things to happen again then you should not have to worry about marks on your account. IMO missing a few days of playing a video game should not be some traumatic event. Perhaps during this time you can think of some non-computer related activities to enjoy with your brother. Look at it like a bonding experience that may make him reconsider before doing something like this to you in the future. Just a thought.
I’m not trying to show a lack of compassion for your situation. I’m simply trying to answer your questions to the best of my knowledge.

My condolences to your little brother being a giant potty mouth. Maybe he needs some good o’ fashion..
We used to have this thing in the Army before it was banned
called wall to wall counseling…
The record of the suspension will not be removed from your account. They keep those things tracked because as people earn more infractions for this or that, the suspensions get longer and longer. I believe the next one is 7 days long.
You should put a crested raptor in his room as punishment.

While it’s pretty much a permanent record, if I’m not mistaken they do kind of “expire” after a time if there is no more infractions made.
If you do want to try to get back in sooner, you’d have to submit a ticket to support. No promises anything would come of it, but whenever your account becomes locked, for any reason, that’s step 1 to get back in if it waiting it out isn’t an option.
Hello, I just went to log into GW about an hour ago and I see that I have been temp banned because of inappropriate language, which baffled me because I barely chat outside my party. I come to find out my younger brother logged in to my account (I keep my username and password remembered so I just have to click a button) and played. I asked him if he said anything in chat and he laughed and told me all about it. Needless to say, I went off on him and he is no longer allowed on my computer which I now lock. I was wondering if there was any way possible to lift the ban with the promise it won’t happen again as I will not allow anyone else to access my account?? I would be grateful. Hope to hear from you soon.
File an appeal and explain it anyway so it’s in your account record. Next, change your password and uncheck the remember password box.

We have no way of knowing who used your account, and I’ve been seeing the “Evil Little Brother Defense™” since about 1988.
Because of this, we could neither lift the suspension nor remove the mark from the account. Sad consequence, but obviously the result of account security issues. You own your account security. Keep your brother out of your account, serve your time, and consider this a very small lesson learned.
