The thing I am most worried about is I had 20 dollars worth of gems, I logged in today to find all my money, gems and anything worth selling was gone, I was at a bank I didn’t go to when I logged out last night.

Do ncsoft still do rollbacks on accounts that have been hacked? I have email authentication and I saw that someone from china and korea, and TX (I am from Australia) have somehow gotten through the email authentication, I have changed the password to my email. I just don’t understand how they got through any of it. I control v all my passwords, all my passwords are different, I barely download anything.

Is there anyway that this can be fixed? I have sent a support ticket, but I am on edge about losing everything.

Also my debit card information is saved in the game, I m really worried how do I take that off while this is being dealt with?

If you can still access your game account, you might try entering the Gem Store and blanking out the fields where it asks for credit card information, then saving that.

Or, speak to your financial institution and explain you are worried your number may have been compromised, and ask for their advice.

They sorted it out for me already, I changed all my passwords they did a re-roll for me. I did loose a few levels but that I much better than my money and gems. I am all good now, thank you though.

On-going problem. A friend was hacked but managed to get a restore. Of course, whoever hacked him now knows who his guildies are – we are a small group – and has now tried to change my password, unsuccessfully.
I hope that ArenaNet KNOW that there is a problem (not just know). A simple password request is likely to fail and I’m more concerned about being banned from the game than losing some digital gold.

Thored, if someone is requesting GW2 password resets, you need to change your email account password NOW. The only likely reason account thieves would be sending requests to reset your game password is because they already have access to the email account you use for the game. With access to your email account they can and will steal your GW2 account (amongst other things).

And even if it is a false alarm, changing your email account password is very good for securing you game account from account thieves.
