This has been resolved went back to my apartment at school and got my old laptop which had the email I was missing 2 attempts on my most used passwords and I was back in my account no need to respond to my ticket now thanks though.

I submitted ticket 271556. The response was that nothing could be done, but I am posting it here for review. It seems like it should be easy to verify in a log that it occurred and offer a refund. After all, it is only the posting fee not an item or gold that actually made it to another player.

A friend of mine asked me to post this because he cannot access the forums. He was permanently banned from the game and doesn’t understand why. The reason given was botting, using macros, or being online unattended. This just isn’t true.

Ticket was filed 3 days ago and he’s had no answer. Ticket is 268398.

He has OCD and falls into patterns of behavior and I know he can play for literally days without logging out. When LoTRO came out with Mines of Moria, he played for 4 DAYS to be the first max level RK on his server.

I really hope you can help, because he’s distraught.

My friend got hacked. He was having a conversation with support via e-mail, but suddenly the conversation stoped without any help given to him. He is waiting for an answer for three days now.
Why is that taking so long, and is there option to get his account back while he lost his CD-Key, but can give every single information needed to proof that accout is his property?

I had an issue with logging into my account last Thurs. <1/16> and on Fri. <1/17> opened a ticket in order to reset my password: ticket #270629. The reply to that ticket was that it was being escalated to a Senior Support Rep for further review. I was able to go in and reset my password and while updating my account security I realized that someone else was logged into my account and was stripping gear/selling inventory/farming with my main character. I opened a new ticket because I had yet to receive a response : ticket #271286 to deal with what I now know was an account hacking issue and not a simple login issue. It has now been 4 days and I still haven’t gotten a reply to my problem. What I have gotten is a generic ‘How was your customer support service’ email before the issue has even been addressed as far as I know. Can I please get an update on my problem, I would love to be able to play again.

(request #261816) This is not resolved, CS is not understanding what I had wanted. I am sorry i did not clearly state it. I’ve seen this service offered to gw2 players throughout this thread what i am wanting is being misunderstood. I have sent a email back to the ticket response i recieved, because my old email is compromised if i can not get my email on the account changed it would render my GW2 account useless. I would have to file a chargeback with my bank if i can not get this done because my old email account has to be deleted.. I spent 80$ on this game, 80$ is enough money to feed me for 2 weeks. every penny is precious to me as a college student. and with me going back on the 21st its already really stressful having to change my email for every different game/etc I own.


UPDATE! Gm has responded and i have change my account name which changed my email to me new one, can you confirm that all GW2 account related emails will go to my new email Gaile?

I’m having trouble finding a solution for not being able to manually joining parties with the tab in the top left hand side. I’ve tried doing /join, forwarding my ports and everything but I still can’t join parties manually. Every time I click on the join button I get an error message. A thing to note is that my ticket has been served by support GM but it didn’t go anywhere.

Nihm.5170 My friend has been premanently banned for gold selling. He is however not a gold seller nor would be ever buy gold. he did however send me 150G for my transfer to the server he is playing on, this gold was a result of a fundraiser that has been held for my transfer. unfortunately Nihm got banned for this. he did submit a ticket and got a response. saying that The issue is being investigated and a member of the support staff will contact him once it is reviewed. to speed up the proces my friend send the support team all the information about the gold mail that was sent. however we are now in the 3rd day after the ticket was submitted and yet there is no word from any support member whatsoever. this is kind of sad considering this was his 1 week off and he was really looking forwards to spent this time on gw2. his account name is Nihm.5170

I only just found out about this thread, so I want to kindly ask you to take a look at this ticket that I sadly gave up on in November 2013: #111648

I had a Rox’s quiver skinned onto an ascended Yakkington backpack, and infused it in the Mystic Forge around the Fractured update so I could put an ascended infusion slot in it. The piece upgraded properly but I lost the skin!

I was very sad about this. I understand using the mystic forge at your own risk when you are throwing in 4 rares or exotics or something trying to get a precursor, or runes or sigils, or any number of other things, and you know you might lose something going into it. Those are known risks in a gambling situation.

With this particular Mystic Forge interaction, however, I was following a tested recipe on the wiki that I assumed wouldn’t cause you to lose your beloved gemstore skin! Having spent valuable mats as well such as 250 globs of ecto in this upgrade process, I felt very confident that this MF recipe was in no way a gamble or chance-taking, but an interaction with 4 ingredients that produces an assured result.

So I would just love if you could have another look at my situation. I’m sorry for the long delay, but I found some other folks on reddit just today who are having a similar loss in quite the same interaction with the Mystic Forge, so I thought I’d try once more time to get Rox’s Quiver back in case there is some renewed sympathy for our collective plights!

Please do not misuse this thread to get a more speedier approach.
As you told elsewhere, you have waited (now) bout 40 hours. Support has tasked themself to answer you in 72 hours. If you didn’t get an answer in 72 hours (as the threadtitle indicates) something went wrong and this is the place to put your ticket down for review.

if your ticket is younger then 72 hours, do not ever post here You will only take more time from support and put more pressure on the system, delaying your own and other tickets more then needed. A wise man once said ‘Patience is a virtue’

I know you mean well and are just eager to get your reply, but please understand that actions like this only demand more time instead of time spent on the queue.

So 3 days ago I bought 2 ascended rings (Royal Signet of Dorik) both of a same kind after months of collecting laurels and badges of honor just to find out that they cannot be equipped side by side. After playing GW2 for more than a year only 3 days ago have I found out about a status of being “unique”. The ring I cannot equip is now sitting in my bank tab.

I know it is a silly mistake but I almost fell to tears to find this out in a very hard way. I just need enough ascended rings so i can equip myself with Agony Resistance so I don’t have to die every second in FOTM.. I would be very grateful and thankful if helpful Anet can refund me those laurels and badges of honor or replacing the ring with Lost Seal of Usoku. I have issued a ticket 3 days ago but I still haven’t got any response from the team yet..

By the way, this is my ticket number issued on the 4/02/14 somewhere at 3am in Switzerland : (326892:Cannot equip the second ascended ring)
