I was able to do this before the payment was put in place and very simply too. I don’t ever remember having an issue transferring in the past but I’ve been told that you can not transfer from an EU server to an NA.

I live in the NA and moved to a EU server (piken square) to play with many of my EU friends who have since left the game. Now I’ve made a few new friends but they are all on Na servers which I am unable to guest to, is it possible for me to transfer servers over region? I check the FAQ section and I believe it said you could but I’m not sure how dated that is.

I’m fine with paying and have the money to do so, I just hope this is an option for me otherwise I would need to delete my account or simply buy a new one and lose all the progress I have to be able to play with my new friends.

Someone told me they attempted it but were unable to move. It may be a bug or the fact that they don’t live in NA but I do so I don’t know if that matters. I just really don’t want to lose everything…..

You can transfer to any server you like, NA or EU. There are no region restrictions except when first authenticating your account.

From Support Answers: Because guesting does not move your character between data centers, as a home world transfer does , you may only guest on worlds in the same region as your home world.

You can not guest cross-region, but you can transfer cross-region. =)

Well, there is a 7-day cooldown between transfers, perhaps that was the problem.

It is possible but please be aware that if you do so and have played tPvP in the past, that experience will be ruined for you. See the sticky in sPvP section of the forum. Anet wont fix it.
