On release day, I made a character called “Ick Dass Thief”. Nearly 6 months later, I am suspended for it. The reason why suspensions are horrible is because I don’t even have any option to rename the character myself, thus either remaking it and throwing hours away, or get someone to report me for a bad name and get suspended for 3 days. How can you even endorse this kind of system?

Once the suspension ends you’ll get to rename character.

Not that i really see anything wrong with the name unless you rearange the letters, but you could do that with most names.

Now that everybody knows ArenaNet is serious about their ToS, anybody with a questionable name should probably put in a support ticket on themselves and try to get a name change before getting suspended.

To be honest, I thought the named looked German or something and wouldn’t have reported it. But apparently you knew it was against the ToS when you created it so you really can’t complain about getting away with it for 6 months when so many others have gotten busted for the same thing.
