Wrong Password/Account Name Error
I have the same issue. Repeatedly changed my password, but I keep getting a message telling me my account or password is invalid (despite being able to log onto my account via the Guild Wars website with no trouble).
The error code I receive is 11:1001:2:1524 and I’ve tried searching for solutions, but to no avail. I also sent a ticket and received (what I assume) was an automated response and a link to change my password again. Unfortunately, this didn’t solve the problem and I have updated the ticket to reflect this. I was then sent a link to create a support account, which I have done.
Not sure what’s causing the problem, a change of password isn’t solving it at all.
Well this sucks. I looked this up to see if there was any solution, I only found that it happens when accounts come from a long break or a big update has occurred. In my case, it’s both.
Just to make sure. You are using your email as the log in, not your account name? Some people tried to log in using the account name and get a rejection.

@ Astral Projections, I was. Tried both on multiple occasions.
Just had a reply back from Support, they have manually changed my password and this seems to have fixed the issue.
