Hi

With each login I have to authenticate my email account. My in box is full from ArenaNet “Authorize log-in attempt”, I tick the box remember address but still.

Also, download 50, 60 mb before I can play, with not a fast connection it takes 10 minutes. Is this normal because its annoying if i want to play for 20 minutes before i head out.

If there is a patch you will be required to download and install it before you can play. This is normal for online games. Patches serve many purposes such as fixing broken content, making changes to existing content and also adding new content so they are important to the ongoing life of the game.

there are patches everyday atm to address emerging problems with new content/event. It is normal for an online game to patch often after major updates (or in this case – event updates).

No, it will not be everytime, only when they change something in the game.

Currently however there is an event going on so they have to do almost daily updates to progress the event.

When there is no event you will go days or weeks without any updates/patches.
