I been sad about many things about the game but i have a question my freind baugh some infulence points and says he see 4030 when i look i see 30 and hen he say im waste some points so he did i look at the quene i said it didnt work he said it did its taking 16hours i was like ok then maybe im glitching log out and the logged in and still i see the same thing my question does have to do something becuase were kn the sperate servers plz hell i been sad becuase i couldnt figure out these issues i love this game so much pls help me

Guild Influence and Guild upgrades are server specific. If you are on a different server than your friend, even if you are in the same guild, you will not see the guild Influence he generates. Nor will you see or have access to any guild updates (guild bank as an example) that he builds. Check that your home server is the same as your friends.

ANet realized this mistake in hindsight and the China version is one unified cross server guild. But the problem now with the NA/EU version of the game is that a large multiserver guild could have combined guild banks much larger than allowed for. Everything else could be merged right now if not for that.

If you consider how the game used to work prior to guesting and MegaServer, it’s not dumb at all (you couldn’t even play with those on other home servers). Since these changes (MegaServer is about 4 months ago), it would be better for a cross server merger, but that has not been ironed out yet (I’m not sure of the accuracy of the above report as to why, but it seems reasonable).
