As Gaile Gray stated in that thread, the issue with the OP in the thread doesn’t has to do with your issue.
You should make a support ticket here: https://en.support.guildwars2.com/ (ask a question).
Support will do WHAT THEY CAN to verify your claim that this is an error at the server and e.g. not to do with lag, or your own fault. The will also do WHAT THEY CAN to get you sattisfied again. They can and will not refund you cash or refund you the item for the simple reason they claim they can’t create items out of thin air on the live servers. There are some rumours bout a possible backdoor, but the official statement is that they just simple can’t do it.
Sorry to bring you this as it is, but this is not the way to get anything done.

So you’re saying that ANet deliberately went into your account and stole your item because they’re big meanieheads? Because “remove” implies an intent, as opposed to a bug or a glitch which does not.

Yes, they really must hide stealing your items. I mean, it is an epidemic, a ongoing-greatly increasing problem we are seeing every single day. And definitely is not strewn with something as simple as player error.
On a side note, your in game items have 0 cash value. As you do not own them, or the rights to them, or anything in game for that matter. This entire thread could have been avoided if you simply sent an email and let the proper people handle the situation.

This, I was thinking the same thing. We don’t own a thing and no cash value. If they did have that we would not be able to gain the item by just playing, converting gems or having luck.

you guys really think people should just lay down and take it when they tell people “too bad. Our server kinda bunked out and you lost your best items. Move on” OKAY forum champions. You should be working with people that have game issues rather than supporting ANET in their “grab the cash and run” campaign.

Just a note on that thread “freedom of speech policy…” does not apply to a game where you are at the “privilege” of using. Not rights.

People are allowed to be heard, your issue however cannot be solved by players. The proper information on how to deal with this was given to you, and instead of listening you attacked that person. You then attacked every person not in agreement with you, and redirected 3 threads, which again, is another infraction. You seem to have not taken the time to read the forum rules, and are sounding more like you just want to complain on the forums for attention. Which by the infractions you are getting, I can tell it is working. I would suggest doing as others have stated before you end up with a “stolen” game as well as an item. You will find no answer to your questions here, and there is a wait period before posting unresolved issues. Take the time to read the rules and respect people who are being helpful without insulting everyone. I see this thread being closed shortly, and probably some more infractions given out. I hope you learn from this, if not, well it is of no loss to the community.

No not everyone thinks that…
But the way you try to get things your way is actually working against you.
Your current problem is being mistaken in thinking your current behavior will actually solve your problem.
It seems you’re more interested in sharing your hurt feelings, making unnecessary posts and links with inaccurate claims, and being dismissive of everyone, including those trying to give you helpful advice than working towards a solution. If you continue, you will make things worse for yourself.
Your claims are misleading, your spamming annoying, and your arguments lack substance.
To fix your problem: make one ticket with support, then be patient.

truth is im posting complaining about a system within the system. its a contradiction of itself. secondly im arguing with people that depend on the system in question, and are confident it works regardless of how much evidence I post in contrary to that. how do I dispute a system within a system?. ANET controls all of the outcomes of this situation. I have referenced identical issues within this forum that lead to no resolution. I came here in the hopes that I had a voice, in that its all I have. Now I know the outcome and I see no reason to continue. ANET “take my money and run”
