not a word from the support team
Hello! first of all this is my brothers account that told me to use it and reached out to the forum about my account that was blocked from the game and didn’t hear a word from the support team after opening a ticket for 2 days now. I would understand that your investigating my account and thats fine because im 100% sure ive done nothing wrong. Its just so frustrating not to hear a single word/email from the support team for that period of time. Specially i’m so close to obtaining my legendary weapon (Gift of mastery to go) and not being able to play to accomplish what is need to be done to craft my legendary weapon is super duper frustrating. Ive spent alot of money supporting gw2 and getting something like this is really upsetting.

And now that im reading all the post here Day/2days ago. I think something terribly went wrong with the new patch as alot of players are reporting being blocked from the game the day my account was blocked.

The only thing that ive receive from support team w/c is in my spam folder is the automated message. And thats it.

Your ticket was created on June 6th, and today is June 7th, so not much time has passed. Give the Support Team a bit of time, I am sure they will respond to your ticket shortly. =)

I actually forgot my support account that i used to have and use a new one back on wednesday afternoon. But i was able to remember my old support account that is link to my game account yesterday. So im checking the email from the new support account that created and theres no response to that one as well =(

Do not create multiple tickets, it will actually slow down your getting any response.
You should close out the additional ticket, wait 3 days from the date you opened the original ticket. If after 3 days you have not heard back, then you post in the 3 days or older thread to have it looked at.

Nothing wrong with the patch. A-net does there data collection over a period of time and then bans in waves based on that data.

I got this ban today, I haven’t even played the game for about a week. Logged on to find I’ve been banned for tampering with the game WTH… I go to support to put in a ticket but the support site will not let me login I keep getting a generic “something went wrong message” This is ridiculous!!….
So I’ve been banned even though I haven’t played for days and then cannot file a complaint.. Help me this is really aggravating ……….

Let us know the outcome, had mine terminated as i was playing today. not sure if its happening to alot of people since the update.

Yeah thank you for pointing that out. Sorry its my very first time being in this page and doing something like this. Would be dumb of me to cheat and risk being ban as I am 15% away from completing my Jugernaut Hammer. Just Gift of battle (35 badges to go) and some skill points to go. I just recenly bought 1800 gems to be able to transfer to JQ to be able to make it faster in farming badges due to Kaineng aint that much active on WvW.

The ticket is 28 hours old. Normally, you would have received a formal response, but there are quite a few appeals and they take time to answer because of all the investigations that are conducted on each one.
The account was closed for the use of a disallowed third-party program that involves cheating. Your ticket will be reviewed and assessed, but it’s not likely that the account will be reinstated because the evidence is very concrete.
BTW, we have seen time and time again that someone’s accomplishments in the game do not point away from the likelihood that they will cheat. Of course, the greater the accomplishments on the account the greater the loss will be when it is detected cheating so you would think those who invest a lot in the game would be especially careful to avoid anything even close to a cheat. But I’ve seen people with SO much to lose getting caught up in cheating. They do it thinking they’ll get the extra edge or a special advantage or help in finishing a difficult quest when, in fact, they simply end up with a ban. It’s very sad.
