When the wardrobe released i noticed that most of my skins were not in my wardrobe. I have attached to following pictures where you can notice that in the first picture i bought grenth hood but in the wardrobe i do not have the skin unlocked. The same with so many other skins like achievements for instance i have unlocked wings of tequital but in the wardrobe i do not have them, the same fot shattered wings and so so many others. I made a support ticket of this but gw2 support does not respond after weeks… I created this topic twice and i was so tired of the bad support that i figuered out I could use this forum. Also I want to add that i have been hacked twice, so i did everything to secure my account. In short terms everything gw2 tells you to do to keepe your account secure. So i had a mobile authenticator and a very impossible pass to hack + full antivirus from kaspersky. At first when i was hacked i had to wait 3 weeks to confirm i was the owner of the account, i had to confirm my identity 3 times! After 3 weeks of waiting they gave my account back but i noticed my account was robbed with every item on it gone. So they reversed my account 2 weeks earlier and i was very glad i still had my precious items… The next day i had been hacked again, gw2 support said they could not reverse my account again because of the bad impact on the market and i had to wait another week to confirm my identity and it was like the same story but it ended so bad for me because i lost it al and gw2 wouldn’t want to refund my for all my items in gems or gold.

So right now i have no answer on my skin bugg and I am waiting right now for another 2 weeks for nothing and gw2 just abandoned me after i was hacked. The funny thing about the fact that i was hacked is that they knew the hackers ip range but they could not block it. Even if the hacker was on my account he must have gave away my gold on my account or sold it. I wonder what you guys think about my story and what does gw2 support have to say about this?

How can you get hacked twice from a different IP address as long as the game has to verify your identity if you are trying to connect from a different IP than usual. The hacker knew your email address and the password of your email? Why didn’t he hijacked your email so you can never recover the GW2 account anymore. You should also know his IP if he did not removed the email that ask permission to use GW2 from a different IP. Next time secure the email, the main way to prove who u are, and do not save you credit card number (even encrypted and with only the last 4 digits visible) anywhere. I personally believe that you where trying to scam Anet for a few free gems.

On the bug thing, there are more important bugs than that, just check the “Mesmer’s Bugged Skills” topic. On those screenshots you can not prove that those screenshots belong to the same account so it might be a scam again.

He did know my pass and e-mail, arenanet said there was a keylogger on my pc, still i really doubt it. But i am trying to get free gems? SERIOUSLY? Why would i say, hack my account and plz take everything i have? And yes i do know his IP, also my email has a different password than my gw2 account so the hacker was so familiar with all my info…

And what is worse, a skill in game that is bugged ( mesmer is op, play pu mesmer…) or an account scammed and a person who can’t play on his own account.

Also note that i had an active mobile authenticator so he could not access my account , still it was piece of cake for him. I hope for you that you won’t have the same issue is i had because now you are like bwaaa /care but hacking can be so easy you know. I did everything that i could to secure my account, daily changes of my password, securing my e-mail with phone authenticator, i even asked for different e-mail address for login in gw2 so don’t say to me that i am a scammer.

If you did not have the items in your inventory (because you were hacked twice, and not eligible for a second Account Restoration), they will not be unlocked in your Wardrobe. You will have to obtain each item, again. This would not be a bug, but an issue of Account security.

If you did not have the items in your inventory (because you were hacked twice, and not eligible for a second Account Restoration), they will not be unlocked in your Wardrobe. You will have to obtain each item, again. This would not be a bug, but an issue of Account security.

As to the skins being “bugged”, they aren’t bugged if you didn’t have them at all before the wardrobe was released. If the hacker deleted them and you can’t be restored, then it’s not a bug, it’s how the system works. It sucks you were hacked, but if the hacker had access to your email, that’s beyond Anet’s control.

Would you rather someone claim to be you contact support and they automatically get access or have support take the time needed to prove you are you who say you are?

As to the skins being “bugged”, they aren’t bugged if you didn’t have them at all before the wardrobe was released. If the hacker deleted them and you can’t be restored, then it’s not a bug, it’s how the system works. It sucks you were hacked, but if the hacker had access to your email, that’s beyond Anet’s control.
