This sounds strange, but is anyone else experiencing an issue where posts you upvote suddenly go away when you re-enter a thread? It seems like whenever I click the +1 on a post, then go back into the same thread later, the +1 is reverted back to being unchecked.

Am I missing something or is this a weird bug on the forums?

It’s a long-standing display bug, that shows either non-upvoted posts as upvoted, or vice versa.

If you check your Forum profile, you should see the posts (you upvoted) listed there as upvoted.

So it’s been a known bug for a while now? Huh. Well, it’s not a deal-breaker by any means, but it is a little annoying having to re+1 all the posts I liked whenever I enter a thread I’ve visited before.

Because it is a display-only issue, if you go back and +1 the posts again, it will turn off your upvote (though display the opposite).

You only need upvote them once, and ignore the display anomaly. =)

Oh dude! I get it now. So I just upvote what I like and then leave it at that, despite the button changing back.
