So yesterday, I decided to up my mesmer a bit through crafting. As we all know, the EXP gained from crafting is 1%/2%/3%/4% per crafting level in experience for your character’s current level, for a total of 1000%, about ten levels.

I started at 0 artificing and 314 cooking, and got both to 400, so that’s just over 13 levels worth of EXP. My character started at 57. I finished artificing 1 – 400, and yet only came out at 65. I did cooking from 314 – 400, and paid attention this time – when I popped 20k EXP for making, say, cayenne pepper + red meat for steak, I would only actually gain 2k, not 20k. Perhaps a case of a misplaced decimal or some such.

0 to 400 only gives 7 levels instead of 10 levels. You need to get to 500 now
