Circlemancer – Qutting Like A Wemil [qutt]

Nov 8th I managed to claim a few names that had been previously reserved by simply “skip to end”, intending to tweak appearance and personal story choices later on.
However, today after deleting and re-creating one of those characters and upon entering the name I still/again get the Guild Wars reserved character name error:
“The name you entered is a reserved Guild Wars character name. If you think this name should have been reserved for you, please make sure your Guild Wars 2 account is linked to your original Guild Wars account and try again.
(Code=1061:4:18:193:101)”
If anything, after the release of names from the original Guild Wars, I should not get this particular error message anymore.

probably need to wait for the server to recognise that it has been deleted?
Same thing happened to me, deleted a toon and name went back to reserved status when I tried to remake him.
I’m also experiencing the same issue. Restarting the client did not magically fix it, and I had deleted the old character a couple of days earlier.
