I was trying to unlock my elementalist’s elite spec tempest.

and then I checked and it requires me over 1200 hero points to unlock whole stuff…

I’ve heard it only requires 400 or 250 hero points to unlock whole thing… is this bugged or something?

Yes i can upload screenshot it cost 175 hero points to unlock a single tempest elite skill

and 1220 HP for the whole.

Do be aware, the cost in HPs at the end of the circle is the cost to unlock that skill/trait and everything before it, as well.

Indeed, if it reads 175 when you mouse over the final skill, that is the TOTAL needed to unlock the full traight line – not just the one skill.

Keep in mind you need to unlock all core specializations before you can start unlocking your elite specialization. That’s 300 HP for all of your core specializations but you get those as you level up. Once you reach level 80 you have enough HP to unlock them. But still, that’s a total of 550 HP to fully unlock all core and elite specializations. No idea where you’re getting the 1,200 from.

I think the OP is mousing over each trait/skill and adding up the number(s) shown, thinking that that number is the cost of each, instead of being aware that the number shown is the cost to unlock everything up to that point.
