When and why have these two Ascended Rings been removed from the vendors (Silverwastes and Laurel Merchant)?

I need one of those and wanted to farm for it in the Silverwastes when I realized this. I then went to the Laurel Merchant, same story: they are no longer listed for purchase.

Have you done the respective requirements to unlock them at the vendor? For the Plague Signet, you have to complete all six Tangled Paths (living story season 2 chapter) achievements. For Verata’s Seared Ring, you have to complete Seeds of Truth (another LS2 chapter) on that character.

Ohhhh… so it depends on the character I use? I thought, once unlocked, all chars can access them. My bad.

I think in the case of the Plague Signet, it’s supposed to unlock it across the account. But it might require the character to play through that story step, at least. I’m not fully sure, though. But yeah, the other one is definitely a character unlock.
