1 Today I bought the recipe called Sharpening Stone Station from the pack supply network in Cursed Shore, I unlocked it on my other character a Mesmer, it went through successfully, Since my Mesmer does not have Weapon-smiting I went on my other character a Guardian to craft it. But as I was searching through the list the recipe was not there. Please arena net I would like to have it available for me to use.

2 A couple weeks ago a purchased a Krait Obelisk Shard for my home instance once I unlocked it was available in my home instance I was even able to get a skill point. But the next day it disappear. I checked all of my characters home but no luck. When I purchase a Sprocket Generator it showed up with no problems even today. I waited to say anything because I sent a ticket ingame but no response.

with the recipes, you have to consume it on the character you want to use it on, because it will only turn up for the character you consumed it on. it is not an account unlock. it is a character unlock, even though the recipe sheet is account bound, the unlock isn’t.

You might consider a -repair of the client, in case of corrupted file(s).

Instructions found via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Search – Repair’.

Good luck.

Wow that sucks, even if I switch trades my 500 lvl weaponsmiting won’t transfer. I wish it said that in the tooltip of the item.

Thank you for the link, unfortunately, the stone station is a lost cause.

That’s not so lost. You didn’t “waste” that recipe, it’s still tied to that character. If you start crafting that discipline with that character you will have that recipe available. That’s why you can consume recipes related to disciplines that you don’t have currently active, because it will be available to you whenever you active such discipline. In other words, your character have “learned” the recipe and can “remember” it later.

Even though you can have only 2 disciplines active at once (more if you buy “upgrades”), you can craft all disciplines at any time (with a cost for switching though).
