Today (date mentioned in thread title) Daily Mists Camp Capturer achievement is displayed twice in the daily achievement panel (which is surely not intended). Once you complete it (capture 3 camps), clicking on the daily achievement panel crashes the game (hard crash, application stops responding and needs to be killed from task manager). Obvious bug is obvious.

Anyone got a list of all today daily? I keep crashing trying to view it.

Confirmed on SoR, incase its a server thing.

2nd that on Sor Happend to be in WvW. Respawned into LA and same thing.

Same here on JQ in WvW and PvE.

Crashes whether I click “More” on the daily list in the upper left, or whether I go to the daily tab in the hero panel.

Game freezes and becomes unresponsive and eventually crashes.

Same for me. Completed it while standing in a camp cap circle with my achievement panel open, and it crashed the second the camp flipped. After I got back in, I clicked the daily tracker to open the full daily category, which caused another crash.

I can confirm this, pressing more on the daily right upper corner causes game to stop responding.

It only counts as one achievement, too

I didn’t get my daily chest for finishing the dailies due to this, loaded back in and the tracker on the upper right is gone.

Same here after getting the camp capturer daily.

I completed it as my fifth daily and received no daily chest for the day as well.

(completing a 6th also gave no reward chest)

i just got the daily chest twice…

I also had the bug while in WvW on SoR. Now I’m stuck in endless queue to get back into WvW. :/

I got the daily camp capturer done.It boosted me from 2/5 > 4/5. Doing a 5th achievement got me the daily reward chest. Viewing my daily achievements does freeze my game however.

Can confirm the crash, also didn’t get the daily chest.

Thought it was just me this was happening to! Adding the my name to the list of “crashers”.

Crashing when opening achievement panel , however I DID receive my daily completion chest.

Dragonbrand, I confirm same error. Did get my chest and accepted items, but any attempt to open achievement pane (even after restarting client) results in hard crash. Will try a repair and see if it has an effect

Found a temporary fix. If you do more achievements (enough to knock out the Daily Camp Capture out of the recently completed window) you can reopen without crashing. Still missed out on a daily chest though.

Same here, Eredon Terrace. No daily award chest.

I had completed Daily Activity Participation, Daily Mists Invasion Defender, Condition Remover, and Daily Gatherer. Upon completing Daily Mists Camp Capturer, I did not receive a chest, and when I went to the daily achievement panel to investigate, the game crashed. I went back on and attempted to complete Ambient Killer to see if that would trigger the chest, but no luck.

Same here on Darkhaven, and like others I didn’t get the daily chest reward.

The double camp daily put me at 1/5 to 3/5, and completing 2 more dailies for 5/5 did give me the chest.

Just crashed three times in a row because of this bug.

Just here to confirm this, has happened twice. First time I thought it was just me, but second time was right after game client restart and I was trying to check daily progress. Realized I was crashing because I was trying to bring up the daily page.

Happening to me too. I can look at all the other tabs without crashing but click on the daily and game crashes

Playing on Fort Aspenwood. My dailies reset while I was in WvW; I saw the doubled camp capture daily, but didn’t click on the list or think much of it at the time since I was up to my eyes in bad guys. I randomly completed dailies while running around fighting (I think I actually got double credit for the camp captures) and got the daily chest as normal. Then I heard people talking about a bug and Ambient Killer (which I didn’t do) so I opened my Achievement panel to take a look. When I did, GW2 froze up hard and would not shut down; I had to reboot my computer to get out of it. Nasty bug, whatever it is.

Did a repair run as well

Yes, I can confirm it happened to me and a guildie as well. Hopefully we will get a fix for it soon.

I am getting this as well. It appeared to happen not with camp capture daily (already had this) but when I think I got the aquatic daily which I might have got just after getting the ambient daily. I was in WvW (Eternal Battlegrounds).

I have tried restarting PC and it still hangs if I go into the daily achievements from the Hero panel. It also happens on other characters. It appears to be specific with the daily achievements (I went into WvW season and out OK).

I got the chest no problem.

I’m on Devona’s Rest server.

I was able to access the daily achievements panel previously, including marking all the achievements on my watch list. After completing the camp capture one, when I tired to look at dailies my game also froze. When I look at my dailies list right now, only the camp capture one is listed, despite selecting them all previously, so the double achievement is obviously having an effect on things.

Same problem here. Also, I did not get a chest when I completed Camp Capture (which was my last of the five).
