If you have 25 Essences of Nightmares and full inventory and then you try to combine them into Key of Greater Nightmares game will consume Bandit key and give you nothing. Essences will stay at same number Bandit key go -1 per click on them.

Happen to me too…
Not sure why but i bough another key and tried again and it worked.
