Ok – my son has an account and so do I. We did 29 of the coins together and checked against each other. Could not get up to the one you need the light bridge for. Logged out – came back – did light bridge – communed last coin – and nothing. Now the last coin doesn’t appear for any toon. Happened in Part 1 and has happened again. Maybe you should add spare coins to make up for untested things that don’t work?

I have a similar issue. I followed the guide on Dulfy, getting all 30 coins, but the achievement only shows that I have 29. I even went back through all 30 to see if I had missed one but I didn’t.

I can only suggest that you begin the annoying and tedious task of revisiting each Lost Coin. Every time I’ve suggested this for similar scavenger hunts (including the Tyrian diving achievement), people have discovered that they missed one — they thought they had gotten credit (and so checked it off), but apparently had missed some step. (I include myself in this, since I’ve had to do this for two separate achievements.)

Now, that doesn’t mean that it won’t turn out to be a bug for the OP & Son, but I think it has a high probability of success.

In addition, you can also contact support and ask them to investigate your account. (They can’t act from a post on the forum; you need to create a ticket at: https://help.guildwars2.com/anonymous_requests/new .)

I was trying to pick up the coin at the oasis, which is underwater. But the animation got interrupted because my character accidentally surfaced. The coin disappeared, and I did not get credit for it. Now I’m stuck at 29 coins.

People have reported that guesting (or taxiing) to a server shard different than the one you got the coin on causes it to appear again if this occurs. Might want to try that as well.

I did the same thing. I think my problem was the one in the water in the oasis. It started to give me the prompt to interact and then it disappeared before I could interact.

I’ve gone through the dulfy guide twice. They are all gone as if I have interacted, but I haven’t. I am stuck at 29/30.

I’ve the same issue with the underwater coin at the oasis. It disappeared when I tried to interact with it while I was on the surface of the water.

For those folks who are sure that their 30th coin is the one that’s in the puddle that supplies water to the oasis, I would like to strongly encourage you to create a support ticket at https://help.guildwars2.com/anonymous_requests/new.

Include the time/date you first tried that one (to the best of your recollection).

If you are correct, and that one is bugged, submitting a report will give ANet some of the data they need to reproduce the issue (an almost-required step in resolving bugs). Further, Support would need a ticket to reset the coin, assuming that’s even possible for them or for a Dev.

And if it turns out that coin is not bugged, then I believe that support will be able to let you know, so you can turn your attention elsewhere.

In the meantime, tediously retracing your steps for all 30 might be the “quickest” way that you can discover the kittenish, final [sic] location. (And yes, I know that’s not “quick” in the least, having suffered through that myself for the Diving achievement.)

Thanks for the suggestion. I did submit a support ticket. However, as I said above, I already went to every location twice to make sure I didn’t just miss any. They are all gone and so I am positive it was because the one in the water disappeared.

I also submitted a support ticket for the underwater coin and sent an in-game bug report. Hope they get this sorted out.
EDIT: Well, I finished the remaining coins I had left to get and I ended up getting 30/30 somehow.

Gz to Apex — glad that the tedium paid off. And condolences to jheryn — let’s hope that it’s something easy for Support to kitten and resolve (or help you to resolve).

I just wanted to give a heads up to those on this thread as I was in the same boat. 29/30 after doing Dulfy’s vid 3 times and sure I was bugged. Turned out I missed the one under the stairs that lead up to the event where you overcharge that tube to get to the champ inquest krewe boss. For some reason I didn’t see that Dulfy picked up a coin there each of the times I went through it. Then I accidentally fell off the stairs and there it was. :p

Anyway, if you are missing one try checking there first.
